Kozhikode: With the actress attack case taking new twists and turns every day, actor Dileep has come out with an answer to those “who are trying to drag his name into the controversy.”
Dileep, in a Facebook post, said dubious attempts are going on to frame him in the case. “These new developments in the case are part of some people’s dubious attempts to destroy me and my film career.” He said he is ready to undergo a lie detection test to prove his innocence.
He said for the past few days, some were attacking him through social media and some online media pursuing “yellow journalism”. Now even some mainstream media are part of this conspiracy, he alleged in the post.
“They want to alienate my audience from me. They want to wipe out my fans and thereby thrash my upcoming movie Ramaleela,” he said.
Denying any role in the case, Dileep said those who are thirsty for his blood should know that he is ready for any tests including Narco Analysis, polygraph or brain mapping.
