Kannur: SFI Kannur district president Muhammed Siraj has filed a complaint with the Chief minister and the state DGP against BJP state president Kummanam Rajashekaran.
The SFI leader had alleged that Kummanam had released a fake video where CPM activists were seen in a jubiliant mood and celebrating the murder of RSS leader Choorikad Biju and the release of the video has triggered clashes between the RSS and the CPM in the area.
The complaint also states that Kummanam had tried to bring hatred between the RSS-BJP workers and the CPM by posting the video in the social media and using the party workers to attack CPM.
The video that was posted by Kummanam on his Twitter handle had been flayed by the CPM district secretary P Jayarajan earlier. Chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan had said in the Assembly that if need be a case may be booked against Kummanam for releasing a fake video.
