New Delhi: Veteran politician and former Karnataka Chief Minister S M Krishna, who recently quit the Congress party, is likely to join the BJP soon, BJP state (Karnataka) president B S Yeddyurappa said today.
"He [SM Krishna] has decided to join BJP. We don't know when for certain, we'll fix that soon. He is joining 100 percent," Yeddyurappa told ANI.
Krishna quit the Congress last week and alleged he was being sidelined in the party because of his age. He had said that Congress wanted managers and not grassroots leaders with experience.
