Mysore Mallige ran into a controversy when news about the film made it to the headlines. Filmmaker TS Nagabharana was quick enough to respond to this news as he was against the film being titled Mysore Mallige. This controversy has finally been resolved with the team of Mysore Mallige renaming their film to Miss Mallige.
Filmmaker TS Nagabharana had written a letter to the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce not to allow the Mysore Mallige title to the film and had even suggested other titles.And now, after he won the case in court, Nagabharana is happy.
And so, the film, starring Roopa Natraj, will now be titled Miss Mallige.
