If you're the proud owner of a 2014 FLH Harley-Davidson and are looking for a solution to enjoy music better while riding your bike, the MoCo is offering you the new Boom high performance loudspeakers, for both fairing and the Tour Pak systems.
These speakers are a 2-way design, with electronic crossover and weatherproof cones. The 6.5" bass and mid-range cone is larger than the stock ones and made from polypropylene, and are complemented by a bridge-mounted 1" soft dome tweeter.
No power ratings or frequency response is mentioned, with "full range" being the only technical description. While the tweeter may definitely reach 20kHz, the lower end of the response could be around 50-60 Hz at best.
The speakers come with protective metal grilles, easy-to-use plug-in wiring and are also vibration-resistant.
They will fit the 2014 Electra Glide Ultra Classic FLHTCU, Tri Glide Ultra FLHTCUTG, Ultra Limited FLHTK, Street Glide FLHX, Street Glide Special FLHXS. Each set of two retails for $199.95 (€145).
