Chintan ropes in Darshan for directorial debut

Script writer Chintan has wanted to make a transition into direction for a while now, but something or the other kept coming up and the writer could not realize his dream. Now, it looks like the ball has finally got rolling as Chintan is gearing up to direct his mentor, Challenging Star Darshan.
Chintan has written the dialogues for movies like Sarathi and Ambareesha. Sathyaprakash of Sarathi fame is reportedly producing Chintan's directorial debut, and the film, titled Chakravarthy, is slated to be launched sometime this year.
There was speculation that Chintan was to make his directorial debut with a film starring Ganesh. Then there was news that he would direct Vijay in another film, but due to some issues, neither of these projects took off. Looks like third time’s a charm and Darshan has proved lucky for the aspiring director.
