Mason stabs wife as minor kids watch
BANGALORE: A mason stabbed his wife to death in front of their minor daughters after she questioned his drinking habits. This happened at a makeshift shed near Nagawara Main Road, KG Halli, east Bangalore, late on Sunday night. He's yet to be nabbed.
Imtiaz Khan would spend most of his earnings on alcohol, forcing his wife Taz Imtiyaz (35) to borrow money from neighbours, KG Halli police said.
On Sunday night, Taz confronted him saying she had no money to buy ration. Enraged, Imtiyaz pulled out a knife and stabbed Taz in the stomach, police said.
The incident came to light on Monday morning when neighbours rushed to the shed after hearing the siblings, aged 12 and 15, cry.
Extortionist killed
Three bike-borne youths performing wheelies on Tannery Road, east Bangalore, on Sunday night stabbed a 23-year-old man who objected to their stunts.
Mohammeed Anees, a resident of Kaval Byrasandra, was facing criminal charges, including kidnap and attempt to murder. He was released on bail two weeks ago. Police suspect the trio deliberately blocked Anees' path to attack him.

A heated argument ensued and the youths stabbed Anees. He was taken to Nimhans where he died at 3am. "It looks like a pre-planned murder," a
