Shakti Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki, 24 January 2017, written update, full episode: Soumya defies Preeto, dances with Harman!

In Shakti Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki 24 January 2017 episode, Harman’s (Vivian Dsena) sister, Raavi’s father-in-law calls up the police that his grandson has been kidnapped. Harman has kidnapped his nephew for his sister’s happiness. There, Preeto is convincing an upset Raavi to come and celebrate Lohri with them. But Raavi tells Preeto that they can carry on with their celebrations and festivities. Meanwhile, Maninder, Bebe and Naani arrive at Harman’s house. Preeto tells Raavi to get ready and goes on to receive Maninder. Maninder gives Preeto the traditional Lohri gifts. Maninder inquires about Surbhi to Preeto , she tells him that Surbhi is now a married woman , it must be taking her long to get ready. She asks Maninder to proceed with all the other guests.

Varun is serving alcohol to everyone outside, when he serves Maninder, Maninder looks at him angrily. Suddenly, Raavi’s father-in-law calls up Varun to ask if Harman is there in the house. He tells Varun that he is sure that Harman has kidnapped his grandson. Varun tells him that Harman is not in the house.

Surbhi comes down where the Lohri is being celebrated, Maninder notices that Surbhi is not wearing the mangalsutra and gets angry. Neighbours ask Preeto and Harak about Surbhi. Varun tells everybody that she is Harman’s sister-in-law. Harak Singh’s friends ask him about Harman, he says that Harman must be out celebrating with his friends and he must be back soon.

There, Harman, who has kidnapped his nephew, Chintu, is getting him in the car. The Lohri festivities begin, Soumya’s dupatta keeps falling again and again, Surbhi sees this and tells her that she would get a safety pin from inside the house. Harman is sitting with Chintu in his room. Chintu starts abusing Harman, so Harman locks him up in his cupboard and leaves.

Surbhi enters the room to look for a safety pin for Soumya. When Surbhi leaves, Raavi’s son comes out of the cupboard and sees Surbhi’s phone lying on the bed. He calls up the police and tells them that his Mama has kidnapped him. He tells the police that he is in Harak Singh’s house and that the house is too big and he cannot figure out the exit. Police tell him to stay there and they will come to take him away. He goes back and sits in the cupboard again.

Surbhi comes inside again as she has forgotten her phone inside. She looks at the open cupboard. She is unable to put the latch as it is too high, so she locks it.

Harman, who is now at the venue where the whole family is celebrating Lohri, asks Raavi to cheer up. She tells him that her mood is off and she doesn’t feel like celebrating. Harman tells her that a surprise is awaiting her at home and she should cheer up. Raavi looks at her brother in puzzlement and Harman leaves. Everyone asks Soumya and Harman to dance as it is a tradition that the newly-wed couple dances on Lohri. Harman tells Soumya to dance with him. Soumya tells Harman that she doesn’t know how to dance. Preeto takes advantage of the situation and thinks to herself that she would tell Maninder what place his daughters have. Preeto tells everyone, ‘now that Soumya cannot dance Harman can dance with his sister-in-law, Surbhi’. Harman gets angry and says that he doesn’t feel like dancing. Preeto asks Surbhi to dance with Harman. Surbhi acts intelligently and pretends that she has got a sprained foot. Surbhi says that now she cannot dance.

Harak Singh’s neighbours tell Harak that Soumya should have danced with Harman. Harman starts leaving in anger , but Soumya stops him and tells him that she will dance with him. Soumya tells him that although she cannot promise him that they would win the competition, she will dance. A smile crosses Harman’s lips and his face lightens up hearing this.
