BELGRADE, Serbia

Footage of an attack on off-duty Anadolu Agency cameraman was released by the Serbian government on Tuesday.

Nihad Ibrahimkadic was brutally beaten on Jan. 5 near Belgrade train station. The Interior Ministry issued footage showing two men thought to have carried out the assault, which left Ibrahimkadic with serious injuries that required treatment in the intensive care unit of the Military Medical Academy.

No-one has yet been arrested in connection with the attack on Ibrahimkadic, who was discharged from hospital last week.

The Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe’s representative on media freedom, Dunja Mijatovic, condemned the attack and Interior Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic visited Ibrahimkadic, a Bosnian national who has worked for Anadolu Agency since 2012, in hospital.
