Uttarakhand polls: Satpal Maharaj, Govind Singh Kunjwal, Indira Hridayesh file nominations

Dehradun, Jan 23 :  BJP heavyweight Satpal Maharaj, Uttarakhand Assembly Speaker Govind Singh Kunjwal and minister Indira Hridayesh were among over 100 candidates who filed their nominations today in Uttarakhand which goes to polls on February 15.

Prominent among others who filed their nominations were Congress ministers Dinesh Aggarwal, Pritam Singh and Nav Prabhat besides Congress turncoat now in BJP and former MLA Umesh Sharma “Kau”.

Satpal Maharaj filed his nomination from Chaubatakhal in Pauri district, Kunjwal from Jageshwar, a seat he represented in the last assembly and Hridayesh from Haldwani.

Dinesh Aggarwal filed his nominations from Dharampur, Pritam Singh from Chakrata and Nav Prabhat from Vikasnagar.

Umesh Sharma Kau has filed nominations from Raipur seat.
