Dancer Isabella Boylston's incredible leg exercise will make your jaw drop

By now I think pretty much everyone knows that ballerinas are athletes. However, if anyone still has a friend or a weird uncle that has somehow yet to be convinced, this video should DEFINITELY do the trick.

Posted over the weekend by The Ballerina Project -- an account that shares amazing videos and images of ballet dancers -- the video features Isabella Boylston's intense leg-strengthening exercise. Balancing on a Bosu ball, the principal dancer at the American Ballet Theatre claims it helps prevent ankle sprains, and it really is just an incredible display of athleticism.

I've had so many ankle sprains over the years that I've had to start doing some strengthening, which I probably should have been doing in the first place! This exercise on the bosu ball is good for waking up your proprioception and ankle stability. The first time I tried I fell off the ball 😂 - Isabella Boylston #isabellaboylstonbp @isabellaboylston #890broadway #newyorkcity #ballerinaproject #bosuball #ballerinaproject_

Don't try this at home, kids. Or if you do, please make sure there is nothing valuable around you to knock over when you fall the first time.
