SELLING dagga on Mzansi’s streets is a quick way to get into trouble.
Just ask two dumb thugs who made it easy for cops to bust them.
This is after they approached cops sitting in an unmarked vehicle and offered to sell them zol!
Poli ce told Daily Sun a car guard walked up to the officers on Friday in Brooklyn, Tshwane.
He caught them by surprise when he asked if they wanted to buy dagga .
The cops asked for a price and one of the officers used her lunch money to pay for the goods.
The whole deal took place right in front of their eyes and the car guard was immediately arrested when he returned with the dagga. The “top dog” drug dealer was arrested shortly afterwards and more dagga was recovered
Police said it’s not often they encountered such situations during the execution of duties, and that this incident was one of the funniest ones ever.
Brooklyn cop shop commander Brigadier Kushie Nairfor praised the officers for the arrest, saying it would help rid the Menlo Park area of drugs.
Police spokesman Captain Kay Makhubela said the suspects would appear in the Hatfield Community Court today for dealing in dagga.
He urged communities to report any suspicious drug activities, persons or vehicles immediately.
He added that information regarding crime or suspicious drug activity can be given to the police anonymously by phoning 08600 10111.
Alternatively, residents can send an SMS to 32211.
