OAB concludes 2016 Hassad Savings Scheme with mega draw

Oman Arab Bank (OAB) marked the culmination of its 2016 Hassad Savings Scheme draw by distributing more than OMR 212,000 to 13 lucky winners as part of its mega, Elite, and monthly draws. The prizes bring the total amount of cash distributed by the bank over the past 12 months to over OMR 1,000,000.

Leading the way, Heirs of H.A. received OMR 100,000 as the winner of OAB’s prestigious Elite prize, which was held exclusively for Priority Banking customers. Badriya Hilal and T.A.F Rawas also won big, receiving OMR 50,000 each as part of the 2016 mega draw. OAB’s spirit of giving did not stop there, with five female account holders and five young savers receiving OMR 1,500 and OMR 1,000 respectively.

With a successful year full of rewards behind us, plans for an even bigger Hassad Savings Scheme are already underway for the new year. During the latest season of Hassad, the bank is looking forward to rewarding more than 1,200 lucky savers with more draws and cash prizes than ever before.”

Launched in January 2016, the revamped Hassad Savings scheme provided savers from every segment with opportunities to win big rewards. Alongside its monthly, female and young savers monthly prizes, the bank organized a number of special draws in commemoration of Eid Al Fitr, Omani Women’s Day, and National Day. Cash prizes were also given to Elite Priority Banking customers during two special draws.
