Events like the Women's March on Washington exist to show misogynists what real women are like, director Paul Feig, left, told Piers Morgan on Saturday.

If Piers Morgan's tweets are any indicator, he's been working to reinvent himself as a men's rights activist ever since CNN kicked him off the air in 2014. and he went back to London.

In recent months, he's picked fights with Lady GagaCharlotte Church, John Legend and Chrissy Teigen, Emily Ratajowski and on Saturday, as Women's March events kicked off in Washington, London, Los Angeles, New York and Park City, Utah, he saw an opportunity to sound the dog whistle.

I'm planning a 'Men's March' to protest at the creeping global emasculation of my gender by rabid feminists," he tweeted Saturday. "Who's with me?"

Unsurprisingly, he will not be able to count on Ghostbusters director Paul Feig, who's spent the last year and a half dealing with anti-feminist complaints about his remake, which featured a female cast.

"This is why #WomensMarchOnWashington is so important," he countered on Twitter. "To show rabid (expletive) misogynists that they share this planet with smart real women."

Hours later, Morgan posted this update, calling the whole thing off.
