Husband booked for abusing, threatening wife

AURANGABAD: Based on the complaint lodged by a 30-year old woman, the Cidco police have registered a case against her husband for publicly abusing and threatening her with dire consequences.
The woman, married the resident of Aadgaon of Kannad tehsil a few years ago, but their relations soured following which she returned to stay with her parents in the city.
The woman in her complaint to the police stated that on Friday morning while she went to drop her father to the auto-rickshaw stand, her husband reached there and started abusing her for lodging a complaint of domestic violence against him and reaching out to the family court against him.
The suspect allegedly using a sharp edged weapon, threatened the woman with dire consequences and even asked her to withdraw the case. Perturbed by the incident, the woman reached out to the Cidco police station and lodged a complaint against her husband.
