Anita Dongre is one the most popular designers in India and she was even named Google’s most searched designer in 2016. From glossy covers to red carpet moments, her work is just a piece of art. The successful designer has more than three labels under her name. From Indian wear to western wear, Anita has marked her territory in both the categories. And now, the designer is in news for another reason.
Recently, we took a tour to her newly launched luxurious couture store at Qutub Garden in Delhi—one of the quietest areas in the capital, with the magnificent Qutub Minar for a backdrop. Glancing at the signature gotapatti work, zardosi, heavy embroidery, we just could not keep our eyes off the clothes.
We also had a quick chat with the designer and asked her about the one celebrity she would like to design for and her answer surprised us!
