KATHMANDU: A policeman died in a motorcycle accident in Lahan of Siraha district on Friday.

The deceased has been identified as police constable Ramesh Kumar Yadav of Bagduwa in Saptari district.

Yadav breathed his last during treatment at Lahan-based Saptarshi Hospital.

The incident occurred when the motorcycle (Sa 2 Pa 6025) he was riding on went out of control and met with the accident at around 9:30 pm yesterday.

He had been working at the Lahan Area Police Office.
