Bihar, January 21: In an extremely shocking incident, a jawan serving in India’s Sashastra Seema Bal was found dead after having committed suicide, early this morning. The Jawan was serving in the Madhubani region of Bihar when he decided to end his life.

The suicide was committed by a clean bullet wound which the Jawan allegedly inflicted upon himself. As per initial reports, the jawan served in the Gangaur camp of the SSB in Madhubani that is situated along the Indo-Nepal border.

Further, initial investigations have revealed his identity to be that of 35-year-old Iqbal Singh, originally from the eastern region of Punjab.  The incident happened at 6;00 AM on Saturday morning. Unfortunately, this is not the first time that a jawan serving in the region has succumbed to pressures on the task and committed suicide.

While an investigation has been launched, reports claim that the initial evidence seems suspicious and hints at some form of foul play. The Benipatti police division of Madhubani will be looking into the case. Station inspector Sanjay Kumar and inspector Praveen Kumar have reached the incident spot to garner further evidence. Addressing the media, Praveen Kumar has said that a full-blown investigation will be launched.
