Case against 2 more in attack on tribal couple
The Munnar police have included the names of Forest Range Officer Anilkumar and guard Suraj in a case related to physical attack on a tribal couple of Siocietykudy at Edamalakkudy recently.
Earlier, the police registered a case on a complaint by Rangan, 35, and his wife Karni, 28, against forest watchers Kolunthappan and Das and the names of the Forest Range Officer and guard were included after a police team led by Munnar circle inspector Sam Jose took evidence at Societykudy. The Munnar Dy.SP had ordered a detailed inquiry into the incident and the police took statements from the witnesses. The couple had underwent treatment at a hospital at Devikulam and filed the complaint before the police.
