Ambala MP Ratan Lal Kataria today claimed that Rs 10 crore had been released from the MPLAD funds for various development works, adding Rs 5.50 crore development proposals were pending.

Ratan Lal Kataria was addressing a review meeting of the work done under the MPLAD funds at Additional Deputy Commissioner’s office here today.

Kataria said, “Baseless allegations are being leveled by the Opposition that money received under the MPLAD funds is not being utilised. While Rs 10 crore has been released, the money for the pending proposals will be released as soon as the next installment of the funds is received.”
