NASCAR HOF Set To Honor Trio Of Team Owners With '17 Induction

The NASCAR HOF on Friday night will induct its '17 class in Charlotte, where inductees will include longtime team owners Rick Hendrick, Richard Childress and the late Raymond Parks. The ceremony, which will air on NBCSN at 8:00pm ET, also will fete late racer and broadcaster Benny Parsons and driver Mark Martin, who has 40 Cup wins. Hendrick is the most successful owner in Cup Series history with 12 championships, and Childress has won 17 across NASCAR’s three national series, including six in Cup with the late Dale Earnhardt. Team Hendrick on Saturday will host a private gathering at the Charlotte Convention Center at 8:00pm to celebrate Hendrick’s induction.
