Colin Tizzard is considering running West Approach in the galliardhomes.com Cleeve Hurdle at Cheltenham on Saturday week.
The seven-year-old, who is a half-brother to the mighty Thistlecrack, was last seen unseating his rider at the final flight when bang in contention for the Long Walk Hurdle at Ascot last month.
Tizzard said: "He is up to 149 now so we will probably have a little look at the Cleeve.
"If it is too much of a task we won't go for it but we will have a look at it with him."
West Approach is a general 20-1 shot for the Albert Bartlett Novices' Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival.
