Pepco has filed with the District of Columbia PSC proposed new purchase of receivables discount rates to be effective January 1, 2017.

Notably, the discount for All-Electric residential customers (Rate AE, including AE customers receiving the low-income assistance under RAD-AE) would be over 2%. Currently, the Rate AE discount (which was solely for Rate AE customers, set prior to the elimination of the RAD-AE specific SOS rate classes) is 0.8%.

The proposed new POR discounts filed by Pepco (D.C.) are as follows, by SOS, or market-priced service, rate schedule:

Rate Class Current Proposed

R, Including Rider RAD 0.0000%* 0.0000%

AE, Including Rider RAD-AE 0.8081%* 2.0608%

R-TM 0.0000% 0.0000%

GS-LV ND, T, SL,
   TS, TN (SOS) 0.0000% 0.0000%

GS-LV, GS 3A, GT LV,
   GT 3A, GT 3B, RT (SOS) 0.0000% 0.0000%

GSLV-ND, GS-LV, GS 3A,
GT LV, GT 3A, T, SL, TS
   (Market-Priced Service) 0.0419% 0.0307%

*Note: Current discount reflects POR discount for Rate R and AE, respectively, without Riders RAD or RAD-AE, as RAD or RAD-AE previously had their own unique discount as the result of being separate SOS rate classes. As previously reported, in adopting portable low-income assistance, the PSC ended the separate SOS rate classes for RAD and RAD-AE customers

Rate classes with a 0% POR discount reflect Pepco "zeroing out" and negative discount rates which would have otherwise resulted from the discount calculation
