Huddersfield manager David Wagner expects to have midfielders Jonathan Hogg and Rajiv van la Parra available for the visit of Ipswich.

Hogg has been suffering with a quad strain and Van La Parra from a knee problem, but both have returned to training and are likely to be in the squad.

However, fellow midfielder Kasey Palmer remains sidelined with a hamstring injury suffered in the 4-0 FA Cup win over Port Vale earlier this month.

A question mark surrounds the fitness of Australian Aaron Mooy due to a back problem, while Sean Scannell is expected to be out until March due to an ankle injury.

Ipswich defender Adam Webster will miss the rest of the season after damaging ankle ligaments during training.

New signings Kieffer Moore and Jordan Spence are expected to be in the squad after they were ineligible for the midweek FA Cup third-round replay defeat at Lincoln, while forward Brett Pitman has shaken off a calf problem.

Midfielder Teddy Bishop has stepped up his rehabilitation from an ankle injury and is set to feature for the Under-23s at Liverpool on Sunday, while defender Tommy Smith (back) and midfielder Luke Hyam (knee) are also closing in on a return along with forward David McGoldrick (hamstring) and left-back Myles Kenlock (calf).
