Nabard has pegged the Credit Plan for Telangana for the financial year 2017-18 at Rs 65,591 crore.

This is 17 per cent more than the Credit Plan for the current financial year.

The guidance by the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development acts as a basis for the SLBC (state level bankers committee) in preparing the States' credit targets for the year.

Nabard Chief General Manager P Radhakrishnan said crop loans would be around Rs 32,830 crore and agricultural term loans at Rs 14,117 crore.

Releasing the State Credit Plan here on Friday, he said loans to micro, small and medium enterprises would be at Rs 9,214 crore.
