Wendy Williams said it was a “horrible, horrible idea” for Paris Jackson to go into the entertainment industry because of she could “never match “ her late father Michael Jackson.
Now the outspoken chat show host has apologised and admitted that she was wrong about it after seeing Paris shooting her campaign for Chanel.
“I can also admit when I'm wrong about judging something,” Wendy explained.
“Just because you are from the loins of greatness doesn't mean that you're going to be great and a lot of times, if your greatness doesn't turn out, it probably hurts even more because you're from the loins of greatness,” she said.
“Like Lisa Marie Presley, she's no Elvis!”
After seeing pictures of the 18-year-old for her fashion campaign, Wendy backtracked.
“I just assumed when she said she was going into entertainment she would be singing, but this whole fashion thing, I haven't seen this little girl happy a day in my life,” Wendy said.
“She looks happy, clean, healthy and on her game.”
