SCR extends 42 superfast special trains

South Central Railway, in order to clear extra rush of passengers during Holi and Summer, has extended 42 services of superfast A/C special trains between Hazrat Nizamuddin and Kochuveli, according Chief Public Relations Officer Uma Shankar Kumar here on Thursday.

Accordingly, Train No. 04426 Hazrat Nizamuddin - Kochuveli superfast A/C special train will depart Hazrat Nizamuddin at 5:55 hrs on February 4, 11, 18 and 25; March 1, 4, 11, 18 and 25; April 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29; May 6, 13, 20 and 27; June 3, 10, 17 and 24 (Saturday) and arrive Kochuveli at 11:00 hrs on Mondays. In the return direction, train No. 04425 Kochuveli – Hazrat Nizamuddin superfast AC Special Train will depart Kochuveli at 23:00 hrs on February 6, 13, 20 and 27; March 6, 13, 20 and 27; April 3, 10, 17 and 24; May 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29; June 5, 12, 19 and 26 (Mondays) and arrive H. Nizamuddin at 03:00 hrs on Wednesdays.

En route, these superfast AC special trains will stop at Mathura, Agra Cantt, Gwalior, Jhansi, Bhopal, Itarsi, Nagpur, Balharshah, Ramagundam, Warangal, Khammam, Vijayawada, Chirala,Ongole, Nellore, Renigunta, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, Coimbatore, Palghat, Thrisur, Aluva, Ernakulam Town, Kottayam, Tiruvalla, Chengannur, Kayankulam and Kollam stations in both the directions.

These trains will have 19 coaches — one AC first class, five AC II tier, 11 AC III tier and two power car coaches.
