Bite Beauty Lip Liner Is on Its Way—and We Can't Wait

My love for Bite Beauty runs deep. My love for lip liner, however, is non-existent. The new Bite Beauty Lip Liner might just give me a change of heart, though. The Toronto-based company teased the launch of the new product on Instagram yesterday, and I'm intrigued. In my apartment, I basically have a drawer devoted to my Amuse Bouche collection, and I even have my own custom shade. Typically, I don't use lip liner because I'm, well, lazy. A good one would definitely help Bite Beauty's satin-finish lipsticks stick around for a bit longer on my lips, though. (The new Agave Sugar Lip Scrub has been a great prep product.) How could I not want some more longevity in my beauty routine?
All the caption said in the Bite Beauty Lip Liner post was "Get ready, they're almost here... #comingsoon." Naturally, my curiosity is running wild. First of all, will the shade range of the pencils be as vast as the Amuse Bouche lipstick? My favorite shades are Kale (a deep hunter green) and Whiskey (a mahogany red), and finding matching lip liners for them has proven to be no easy feat. The Instagram picture shows off neutral shades, including a dusty rose and creamy beige, so I might still be out of luck. Second, I really just want to see the final product. A wooden pencil, which requires sharpening, seem a bit off-brand for the all-natural company. Most of their lip products come in velvety matte gray packaging that you twist up for more lipstick or lip balm. I guess we will just have to stay tuned for more details, and I'll be sure to give you my official review once they're out.
