SAD Takes Pot Shots At Amarinder-Sidhu Duo

The Shiromani Akali dal today took pot shots at PPCC President  Capt Amarinder Singh and former MP Mr. Navjot Sidhu for praising each other and said that they should clear the confusion  from the minds of public as people are wondering their which statement is real one.In a statement released here today, the Union Cabinet Minister and Senior SAD leader Mrs Harsimrat Kaur Badal said that  Mr. Navjot Sidhu has now said that ‘Amarinder Singh is his boss’, then he should make it clear why he was earlier force to declare that ‘they will compromise with the Congress minus Captain’. She said that similarly Capt. Amarinder Singh had termed the ‘Awaz E Punjab’ as ‘Tonga Party.’ Now he is thanking same leaders of ‘Tonga party’ to join Congress ‘without any condition.’She said that they keep on changing their stands on different matters as the day rises and change their mind when the sun sets. She said that  people of state are witnessing the worst status of the leaders of the such caliber who have  one stand on a day and next day they have  opposite view on the same matter.
Lashing out at the double standards being adopted by both these leaders Mrs Badal said that nothing good can be expected from these type of leader who are more eager to satisfy their own ambitions and work for their personal upliftment instead of working for the welfare of the people and progress of the state.Union Minister said that this is not the first time that when  Capt Amarinder Singh resorting to such blatant lies and follies. She said that the worst he had done on assuming the role of CM in 2002 was to stop free power to the farmers and  complete ban on recruitment whereas he  had promised continuation of free power and providing large scale employment to the youth during his campaigning period. She asked the Congress leaders how can people believe in your words when you  are changing stands everyday even during the campaigning period this time.The SAD leader said that it is quite clear from the confusion in the minds of the both these leaders that they have realized that people of the state  have made up their mind to  again mandate the SAD-BJP combine to serve the state. She advised both these leaders to take rest and try to digest this reality.
