Barack Obama playing in the snow with daughters Sasha and Malia will make you nostalgic already!

As his term ends as the President, White House photographer Pete Souza shared a couple of photographs of Barack Obama playing in the snow with his daughters.

A lot of Americans still have to come to terms with the fact that United States President Barack Obama has only one day left in office. As his term ends as the President, White House photographer Pete Souza shared a couple of photographs of Barack Obama playing in the snow with his daughters Malia and Sasha. He shared the pictures on Instagram on Tuesday with a cute story. The pictures show Obama making snow angels while being bombarded with snowballs by his daughters.

Souza in his Instagram post wrote, “People are always asking me to choose my favorite picture of the President. But I just can’t do it. So let me tell you about my favorite day. It was a Saturday in February 2010. Washington was under siege with snow. I slept in my office overnight, knowing I probably couldn’t drive to the White House the next day. And then I guessed…and yes, hoped…that the President of the United States would be a dad and play with his girls in the snow. And he did. Obamas will shift to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave after Obama’s terms as the President ends. The family has planned to rent a nine-bedroom home about two miles of the White House. The family will stay in Washington as their younger daughter, Sasha is yet to finish high school, who is currently studying at Sidwell Friends School in Bethesda, Maryland. While their older daughter, Malia, after graduating last spring, is currently taking a gap year and will start school at Harvard this year. Pete Souza is a freelance photojournalist and current Chief Official White House photographer for President Barack Obama.
