Is IPL 2017 Schedule released on WhatsApp official? Match Fixtures and Complete Time Table of VIVO IPL 10 go viral

Indian Premier League 2017 or VIVO IPL 10 is still months away, but the buzz around the highly-awaited domestic tournament has already picked up pace. The popular messaging app, WhatsApp is flooded with VIVO IPL 2017 schedule and match fixtures. According to this viral forwarded WhatsApp message, IPL 2017 is scheduled to begin on April 9, 2017, till May 29, 2017. IPL 2017 timetable informs on the first match to be played between Mumbai Indians and Rising Pune Supergiants on April 9, 2017. The authenticity of this VIVO IPL 2017 Complete Time Table being an official schedule is yet to be established. There is a discrepancy in the opening match of IPL 10 as well as IPL 2010 finale dates from what was announced earlier by the IPL chairman, Rajeev Shukla. The IPL chairman has informed that the 10th edition of Indian Premier League may begin from April 5, 2017, while this message on IPL 2017 match fixtures states the tournament to commence on April 9, 2017. The given IPL 10 schedule becomes more skeptical as the opening game does not feature defending champions, 2016 IPL winners, Sunrisers Hyderabad and instead, has Mumbai Indians and Rising Pune Supergiants play the inaugural match of 2017 IPL tournament. The season 10 of the IPL, IPL 10 will be the final edition under the existing 10-year contract.

Indian Premier League has cemented its place in the cricketing history as a favorite and most-watched tournament. The IPL has contributed substantially to the Indian Economy. The cash-rich league is a professional Twenty20 cricket league established by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in 2007 witnesses a pool of biggest names from the game participates in the tournament. IPL 2017 will be no different with eight teams, same as the previous year will be in India to kick-start the 10th season of IPL. According to the IPL Governing Council chairman Rajeev Shukla, VIVO IPL 2017 may begin from April 5, less than a week after the Test series against Australia ends on March 29, while the players’ auction will be held in Bengaluru on February 4. One of Lodha Panel’s directives to the BCCI was to keep a 15-day gap between the IPL and an international series.
