Masked man dances with a tree branch after almost being run over in bizarre Bendigo video

Therese AllaouiHerald Sun

THE antics of a man in a freaky mask who jumped in front of a car in Bendigo on Monday have been caught on the driver’s dash cam.

The video, posted on the Dash Cam Owners Australia Facebook page, shows the man running at the car with a large tree branch in one hand, and a second unidentifiable object in the other.

Dressed in a grey singlet, with his face hidden behind a black Spiderman mask, and with choppy, mid-length hair flowing from behind it, the man bizarrely starts bopping up and down — in the middle of the road.

He continues to dance and blocking the car’s path, while flailing and giving the driver nonsensical gestures.

The driver becomes increasingly agitated as the bizarre incident unfolds in front of him.

After about one minute of the absurd show, the masked man moved from in front of the car, finally allowing him to pass.
