Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor wrapped up the first schedule of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati at an elaborate set created in Mumbai.
The second schedule of the period drama will commence soon and unlike the first one, Ranveer Singh will be a part of the shoot for this schedule. Reportedly, team Padmavati will soon fly to Jaipur for a prolonged shooting schedule.
Bhansali is known to keep things as real and authentic as possible and the film-maker has plans to shoot for the film at a few unexplored locations in Jaipur. In the film, Deepika Padukone will essay the character of queen Padmavati while Shahid Kapoor will be seen as her husband, Rawal Ratan Singh.
Ranveer Singh on the other hand will be seen as Padmavati’s obsessive lover, Alauddin Khijli. The movie is scheduled to release on November 17 this year.
