For filmmakers Srinivas Gowda aka Seeni the big idea for his creativity to start working could come from anywhere. And for his upcoming film, H /34 Pallavi Talkies, the idea came when an unfortunate incident took place while watching a film.

While the film’s team has completed shoot and the recently released a tech teaser, the director reveals that the film’s plot came to him while watching the horror flick,  The Conjuring on August 5, 2013.

“I had gone with director and friend Suni to a theatre, when we heard that a man died while watching the film. It became news the next day. In fact, I had initially titled the movie giving the particular theatre’s name where the incident took place, but the film chamber did not agree. Just then Pallavi Talkies was getting demolished, so I brought in that name,” he explains.

Apparently, editor, Srikanth, who worked in Uggraam, also watched the film in the same theatre, and during the same show timing. “So when I considered the one-liner of this incident for the movie, I brought in his experience too,” he says.

A horror flick, the film has been weaved on the main plot of the real incident while taking it forward from there. “The story is carried further with its screenplay, which is more of a psycho thriller, influenced by some scary incidents from around the world.

In H/34 Pallavi Talkies, the last seven minutes is when people will get to know the truth, with Suchendra Prasad, a ghost hunter, revealing the plot,” the director discloses.
The film has an ensemble cast including Tilak playing the lead with Yagna Shetty, Achyuth Kumar, Avinash, Sudha Belawadi, Padmaja Rao and Amrutha among others.
