Security beefed up in Cuttack ahead of second India vs England ODI

An addition in the number of CCTV cameras and positioning of at least one policeman in each stand has been executed.

"Each stand will have a police present. Several CCTV cameras have been installed and we will be able to watch the live feed through it in the control room," said Y.B. Khurania, Commissioner of Police.

Seat numbers have been stuck on the respective seats to ensure the spectators do not face any problem.

Several volunteers have been deployed to assist the spectators in seating arrangements.

"It is witnessed for the first time that the seats will have numbers on it. It will ease the difficulties faced by the spectators to look for their seats. We have requested the OC to provide volunteers for each stand who will guide the viewers to their respective seats," continued Commissioner Khurania.

A new system of out-pass has been introduced due to the restriction of outside food and beverages this time.

"This time an out-pass system has been introduced as outside food and beverage will not be allowed. As the match is going to go on for a prolonged period of time, after half time, the spectators can avail the out-pass and take the refreshments moving out of the stand and getting back in later."
