As her super bowl halftime show fast approaches, Lady Gaga is readying a tour with dates to be announced after the big event, according to a new tweet from the singer's official account. Meanwhile, a new Instagram post revealed that Gaga is already back in the recording studio with a "new sound."

Gaga Tour Reveal

It looks as if Lady Gaga is certainly keeping herself busy these days. The singer is set to perform the big halftime show at the upcoming Super Bowl on Feb. 5, but she's got some other performances scheduled for the time period after the big game in the form of an upcoming tour. Gaga retweeted a tweet from one of her many fan sites, which revealed that the singer is set to embark on a tour, with dates to be announced following her Super Bowl appearance.

"Lady Gaga's tour is already booked and to be annoucenred (sic) after the #PepsiHalftime Get your coins ready!" the tweet reads. No specific mention of the length of the tour or which territories it will encompass was made.

Gaga Back In Studio

In another interesting and unexpected revelation about the singer, producer Brian Kennedy posted a picture of himself on Instagram in the recording studio with Gaga and songwriter Dallas Davidson. Kennedy has produced hits for artists such as Rihanna ("Disturbia") and Chris Brown ("Forever"), while Davidson has written for top country music artists such as Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, and Lady Antebellum.

"First session of the year with @ladygaga & @dallasdavidson_ two incredible people! #inspired #readytoworkagain #newsound" was the message accompanying Kennedy's post.

The "new sound" hashtag is particularly intriguing in that Gaga had just introduced a new sound on her recently released Joanne album. Rather than the electronic dance pop music that helped propel her to fame, Gaga offered a stripped-down hybrid of pop, rock, and country elements, with a more raw organic flavor. Reaction to the new album from both fans and critics was mixed, and it notably produced no hit songs for Gaga. While some of her "little monsters" warmed to the change, others expressed disappointment in such a radical switch in musical style from previous endeavors.

Gaga embarked on a limited "dive bar" tour in intimate venues to promote the new collection, but it is likely that her upcoming tour will be more in the vein of the big productions of her former concerts, and the Super Bowl performance is likely to give audiences an idea of what they can expect when she takes the show on the road afterward.
