Has Jacob Zuma been saved by muti?

Traditional healers in Africa have been around for centuries. Many Africans prefer using traditional healers and only go to western doctors if they believe that there is no cure. Some observers have praised the African traditional way of being healed, while others are skeptical about these practices and results. Our president is from rural KwaZulu-Natal and the chances are that he uses traditional remedies from time to time. Jacob Zuma has found himself in the headlines for all the wrong reasons since becoming a public figure. This is not to say that he hasn’t done any good. One has to imagine that no other public figure in a democratic country has been able to go through so many scandals unscathed. He lays low at his weakest and strikes as soon as he smells some power being recovered. So how has he been able to stay as powerful even after so many scandals? Many African observers in the rural areas believe that Msholozi has very powerful herbalists and traditional healers that he is able to utilize whenever the need arises. Traditional healers that supposedly assist the president are obviously very powerful if he uses their muthi. The same observers believe that traditional healers that the president uses are not South African. Apparently traditional healers from other African countries are much more powerful than our locals. We will never if muthi is the reason for Zuma’s survival for so long. The muthi that he uses is pretty impressive if it is responsible for his survival. Michael Hlophe Michaelhlope75@gmail.com
