Juventus are lining up a swap deal involving Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez and Miralem Pjanic.

While Manchester City, Chelsea and PSG among others have also been noting developments concerning Sanchez's future at Arsenal, Juventus are ready to cement their interest.

The front page of Italian newspaper Tuttosport runs with the sensational swap story.

In the article it suggests that Pjanic could be used as a makeweight to land Sanchez. Juve are said to want the Chilean to line up alongside Paulo Dybala and Gonzalo Higuain.

The story adds that the club's sporting director Giuseppe Marotta would ideally not include the Bosnian playmaker in part of the deal.

Barcelona midfielder Sergi Samper claims he has rejected the chance to join Arsenal.

The midfielder, who is currently on loan at Granada, has been linked with a move to north London frequently - including over the summer transfer window.

Despite Arsenal's interest, the 21-year-old insists he "didn't want to listen to Arsene Wenger".

"I made it clear that I wanted to stay, that I wanted to succeed at Barcelona," he said. "That was very good and I was happy with my decision.

"I want to be able to succeed at Barca in the future.”
