International property giant Hines and real estate investment firm Peterson Group have completed their acquisition of the Central Bank's headquarters and the former Irish Nationwide HQ on Grand Parade for a total of approximately €104m.

In a statement yesterday, the partnership said it was now considering its plans for the Central Bank's Sam Stephenson-designed 'Tower' on Dame Street and associated commercial properties at 6-9 College Green. It is understood Hines and the Hong Kong-based Peterson Group paid €67m to secure the Central Bank portfolio.

Separately, the partnership is understood to have paid approximately €37m for Irish Nationwide Building Society's former HQ on the Grand Canal in Dublin.

Now fully-let to Amazon, the 1.7-acre site includes an eight-storey office building.
