B. Aparajith 148 (260b, 17x4, 2x6) and B. Indrajith (127 batting, 129b, 17x4) were engaged in a 210-run fourth-wicket partnership to help Vijay CC reach 349 for four on day one of the second round elite group match against Jolly Rovers in the TNCA first division league at the IIT-Chemplast on Tuesday.

This is the pair’s second consecutive 200-plus partnership of the season.

At CPT-IP, Anand Subramanian (79, 150b, 6x4, 1x6) and Shijit Chandran (72 batting, 160b, 8x4) added 136 runs for the fifth wicket as Alwarpet got to 293 for seven versus India Pistons.

At SSN College, Washington Sundar (88 batting) strung two substantial partnerships —105 for the fifth wicket with K. Shri Vasudeva Das (52, 102b, 9x4) and an unbroken 95 for the sixth wicket with Y. Venugopala Rao (60 batting, 108b, 8x4) — to help Globe Trotters reach 282 for five against Young Stars, for whom M. Prabhu took four for 96.
