Sastrayaan in
all universities
Sastrayaan, an outreach programme initiated by the Cochin University of Science and Technology, will be implemented in all other varsities in the State. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will inaugurate the State-level project at a function to be held at the varsity complex here on Saturday. Vice Chancellor J. Letha said here on Tuesday that all the departments will set up stalls at the venue. The research and academic accomplishments of each centre will be showcased as part of the programme, she said. On the first day of the event on Friday, the open house will welcome public and students from various regions. Elected representatives in various local bodies and the State Assembly will visit the venue on Saturday. Entry to the programme is free. — Special Correspondent
