Dehradun, January 17

PC Tiwari, state president of the Uttarakhand Parivartan Party (UPP), today said the list of candidates for the state Assembly elections would be released soon.

He said the coalition with political parties other than the BJP and the Congress could be done to win election.

Tiwari cornered the BJP and the Congress for not taking enough measures for carrying development activities in the state. He alleged that corruption had increased manifold for the past 16 years in the state. Tiwari lamented that the Congress-led state government had extended its support to land, mining and liquor mafias in the state.

He said basic amenities like road, potable water, school building etc. were in a dilapidated condition in higher areas of the state. He said candidates would surely win elections as voters were looking for third front in the state.

Yodhraj Tyagi, Bhargav Chandola, AD Nautiyal and NS Rawat were also present.
