Both Rihanna and David Bowie have received multiple nominations for the Brit Awards this year. The awards ceremony honors artists who released music both in the United Kingdom and worldwide.
Rihanna is up for the International Female Solo artist award. The singer is also nominated in the British single category for the Calvin Harris hit "This Is What You Came For," which she is featured on, as well as the British Artist Video of the Year for the same song.
Bowie's final album, Blackstar has been nominated for the British Album of the Year. Bowie also captured a nomination for the British Male Solo Artist.
The 2017 Brit Awards, hosted by Michael Buble, will take place at the O2 in London on February 22.
