Director General of Police (DGP), Dr. S. P. Vaid has ordered promotion of 62 Sub-Inspector as Inspectors in Jammu and Kashmir Police. The promotions include 23 in executive and 39 in Armed Police. Formal orders were issued by PHQ today.Congratulating the promoted officers, DGP has said that the constituted committee has found them eligible, after scrutinizing their service records and performance, He has asked the officers to rededicate themselves for the service of the people and supremacy of law of the land.Officers promoted include Piaray Lal Pandit, Fayaz Ahmad Sheikh, Gazee Ab. Karim, Mashkoor Ahmed Giri, Irfan Ahmad Khan, Mohammad Akhtar, Manzoor Ahmad Malik, Bilal Ahmad Bhat, Altaf Hussain, Syed Sajad Hussain, Mohammad Saleem Naykoo, Mushtaq Ahmad Bakshi, Javid Ahmed, Mehraj-Ud-Din Raina, Mohammad Liyaqat, Ab Ahad Najar, Karan Singh, Sajad Hussain Shah, Syed Nazir Ahmad, Farooq Ahmad Bhat, Nissar Ahmad, Tasleema Parveen, Mohammad Yousuf Sofi, Manzoor Ahmad, Parshotam Lal, Sanji Ram, Ab Majeed, Pawan Singh, Surinder Singh, Jalil Ahmad, Shabir Ahmad, Bal Krishan, Pankaj Sharma, Sahil Singh Charak, Arun Sharma, Gowhar Ali, Gourav Sharma, Mohammad Shafi, Omesh Thakur, Gowhar Hussain, Vinay Kumar, Abishikh Sharma, Iqbal Ahmad, Nisar Ahmad, Amit Basur, Sukhbir Singh, Farooq Ahmad, Om Parkash, Gurdeep Singh, Nazir Ahmad, Kuldeep Kumar, Mubashir Ahmad, Naresh Sharma, Imtiyaz Ahmad, Mohammad Yousuf, Anil Padha, Durjay Angchuk, Nisar Ahmad, Sat Paul Raina, Tirath Singh, Dinesh Kumar and Kewal Krishan.Further 14 officers were granted grade promotion which include Dy SP Mohammad Saleem, Inspectors Mohammad Aslam Shiv Kumar, Maqbool Hussain, Mohammad Baqir, Chimba Samstan, Bashir Ahmad, Gh: Mohammad, Soma Ram, Kapil Tikoo, Hamidullah and Tsewang Dorjey, SIs Javid Ahmad and Aamir Mir.
