ALL ABOUT THE CASE
  1. In October 1998, a case was registered against the actor under the Arms Act while he was shooting for Sooraj Barjatya's family drama Hum Saath Saath Hain in the desert state for alleged possession and use of arms with expired license. Salman was accused of poaching two blackbucks.
  2. The actor and his entourage will be staying at Hari Mahal Palace in the city. The verdict is expected to be announced by 11 am.
  3. In July 2016, Jodhpur High Court acquitted Salman in both the poaching cases. The actor was accused of shooting protected antelopes or chinkara in 1998.
  4. Wearing a blue shirt and sunglasses, Salman had stormed out of the court with his bodyguard Shera in tow, amid a huge gathering of fans and media persons. The actor was then seen pushing the crowd aside angrily before leaving for his hotel amid tight security.
