Murder arrest over Leicester alleyway death

A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a body was found in an alleyway in Leicester.

Officers were called to Cromer Street at about 09:30 GMT by a member of the public. The identity of the body is not yet known.

Leicestershire Police said the street and surrounding area had been cordoned off to allow for investigations by forensics officers.

The suspect, aged 50, is currently in custody.
