The Twitter account of Union Minister of State for Finance and Corporate Affairs Arjun Ram Meghwal has been hacked today. As per reports, the unidentified hackers had also put some undesirable contents on the social network site. “Someone has hacked into my Twitter account & posted undesirable content. The complaint has been lodged,” Meghwal, later, said in a tweet through his different Twitter account. The minister has nearly 32,000 followers on Twitter. He had joined the social network site in March 2011.
On January 1, an unknown group had hacked the website of National Security Guard (NSG) and filled it with vulgar words.Attackers had filled the website with messages written in an abusive language and the prime target was Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The hackers were believed to be from Pakistan as the texts had references from ISI and slogans praising the neighbouring country.
Cyber attacks and hacking have been recently in the news after a group called Legion hacked the official Twitter accounts of Congress VP Rahul Gandhi, businessman Vijay Mallya and even the Indian National Congress.
The group posted abusive tweets from all these accounts. They even went on to provide details about Vijay Mallya, including his passport, residency permit in the UK, domestic and overseas assets, letters and more.

Recently the Twitter account of senior NDTV journalists Barkha Dutt and Ravish Kumar were also hacked.
