Remember Poor Joey from the college football national championship?

Joey was given the chance earlier this month to win $1 million from the meat brand Eckrich live on ESPN. His challenge?To throw a football into a hole from 25 yards deep. Unfortunately, he failed and it was a really bad throw – the kind of throw that goes viral on the internet.

Flash forward to this week, and Joey’s saga wasn’t over. Good Morning America gave Joey three more chances to win Eckrich’s grand prize. The world watched (OK that might be an exaggeration): Would Joey be able to redeem himself? Would his “clutch gene” come out in front of the millions watching on morning TV?

Nah.
