Remember Deepika Singh? Sandhya of Diya Aur Baati Hum fame is all set to embrace motherhood

Deepika Singh of Diya Aur Baati Hum is expecting her first child now.

Deepika Singh has been a household name as Sandhya of Diya Aur Baati Hum for a few years till now. Her telly show was one of the most loved shows of the small screen until it was pulled off air due to dropping TRPs. It’s been close to an year since Diya Aur Baati Hum was taken off air and the actress complains that she hasn’t received her dues as yet. Deepika actually had to undergo through a lot of stress due to the same. While this problem with Diya Aur Baati Hum producers is yet to be tackled, Deepika has a good reason to smile.

Yes, the actress is expecting and Bombay Times reported this. Deepika got married to director Rohit Raj Goyal in the year 2014 and is now pregnant with their first child. The telly actress just completed her first trimester and is looking forward to the New Year. While talking to the entertainment daily, she said, “I had gone out of town for a holiday and fell sick. Deepika also reveals that her parents and in-laws are extremely elated with the news. “My parents, in-laws and husband are extremely happy. Having a baby is such a beautiful experience, which I feel is unique for every woman. My family is superstitious so we were hesitant to announce this news earlier. I support and understand their emotions. Both Rohit and I are looking forward to this new phase in our lives and pray to God that everything turns out to be good this year,” says Deepika.
