Shahid Kapoor's half-brother Ishaan Khattar is all set to follow in the footsteps of the Udta Punjab actor and make his big Bollywood debut soon. And if reports are to be believed, unlike other star kids, Ishaan has chosen a much unconventional project as his big screen debut.

According to a report in Mid-Day, Ishaan has bagged a role in Majid Majidi's English film Floating Gardens. The Iranian filmmaker, who has begun shooting for the film in Mumbai, has also roped in Deepika Padukone. Buzz has it that Ishaan will play Deepika's younger brother in the film.
The social media sensation, whose Instagram boasts of over 31k followers, is set to make it big and how. Ishaan's launch vehicle has already created a lot of buzz among the film enthusiasts. And this latest piece of information has only added to the hype.
However, this isn't the first time that Ishaan's big screen debut has made it to the headlines. From rumours of working with Sara Ali Khan to Jhanvi Kapoor, the star kid has been in news for quite some time. Here are the other times that Shahid's brother was in the news.
Bollywood debut opposite Sara Ali Khan: Ishaan's big Hollywood project opposite Deepika Padukone isn't the only time that Ishaan has caught the fancy of media and fans. Almost six months ago, the news of Ishaan making his big Bollywood debut opposite Saif Ali Khan's daughter Sara Ali Khan started doing the rounds. Buzz was that the two have been roped in by Karan Johar for the Hindi remake of The Fault In Our Stars. In fact, Ishaan's mom Neelima Azmi confirmed that he has been offered a role in a KJo production. However, soon the buzz fizzled out as Sara was approached for another project.
Sairat with Jhanvi Kapoor: A few months later Ishaan was yet again in the news, but this time for a film opposite Sridevi's daughter Jhanvi Kapoor. Rumour had it that the 21-year-old was to share screen space with Jhanvi in the Hindi remake of the hit Marathi film Sairat.
Dating Sara Ali Khan: Ishaan and Sara's professional choices aren't the only things that are being widely talked about. Their personal lives have also been under the radar for quite some time. And if latest buzz is to be believed, Sara and Ishaan are dating. While Sara has been linked to former Union minister Sushil Kumar Shinde's grandson Veer Pahariya in the past. But now the rumour has it that Saif's daughter is dating Shahid's younger brother.
